Accessibility Statement
SiteGuide is committed to making the storefront, our sellable templates, and the embedded guide widget usable by as many people as possible — including people with disabilities. This page explains what we've done and how to reach us if anything doesn't work for you.
Scope
This statement covers three surfaces:
- The SiteGuide storefront at
/demosand the per-template preview pages. - The sellable template ZIPs — the starting-point HTML we ship to buyers.
- The embedded AI guide widget (
widget.js) that drops into host pages.
Our commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Buyers who customize a template take on responsibility for keeping it conformant, but the baseline we ship should not need remediation before it can be used.
What we have done
- Defined page language (
lang="en") on every page. - Skip-to-content link at the top of the storefront and this statement.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators via
:focus-visible. - Widget supports
prefers-reduced-motion— pulse, hover-lift, and typing animation disable on request. - Widget buttons and input have accessible names and a visible focus underline.
- Form inputs on demo templates carry
aria-labelor a proper<label>.
Known limitations
Some demo templates ship with light-only theming, and animation-heavy demos may still have quality gaps beyond the baseline. Buyers who customize a template are responsible for maintaining accessibility as they add content. If you find something that gets in your way on a live SiteGuide-hosted preview or in the widget itself, please tell us.
